Pedestrians. Central London. SOLD

Oil on board. 60x45cm. This oil painting is one of the larger pieces in my city series of work. The title is intentionaly dead-pan, refering to the content of the painting; it`s subject matter is the isolation we can feel in a modern city. In this painting the perspective is very much that of you, the viewer;you are about to cross a road. The woman infront of you is part of an endless stream of anonymous people -a split-second captured.
As an artist/craftsman I chose to paint this composition because of it is full of movement and rhythm, colour and converging lines.
